High Potency. Complete Cure.
Bayer Buonos is a high-concentration systemic fungicide that sets the standard for curative disease control. Containing Tebuconazole 38.39% SC, it is significantly more potent than standard triazole formulations (which are often only 25%).
Buonos is a "demethylation inhibitor" (DMI) that rapidly penetrates the plant leaf and moves systematically to hunt down fungal infections. It is the specialist's choice for cleaning up severe infestations of Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose, and Leaf Spots in vegetables and pulses. When other fungicides fail to stop the spread, Buonos delivers the knockout punch.
⚡ Extra Strength Formula:
At 38.39% concentration, it delivers a higher dose of active ingredient per drop compared to generic Tebuconazole 25%, ensuring faster and more reliable results.
🛡️ Eradicant Action:
It doesn't just protect; it cures. It is highly effective at stopping diseases that have already established themselves inside the plant tissue.
🔄 Systemic Movement:
Absorbed quickly by the leaves, it travels through the xylem (water vessels) to protect new growth and wash out infection from the inside.
🍃 Greening Effect:
Beyond disease control, Tebuconazole is known to improve leaf greenness and delay aging (senescence), keeping the crop productive for longer.
🌧️ Rainfastness:
Rapid absorption means it becomes rain-fast within a few hours, reducing the risk of wash-off during the rainy season.

Q1: How is Buonos different from Folicur or generic Tebuconazole?A: Standard Tebuconazole (like Folicur) is usually 25% EC or 25.9% EC. Buonos is a concentrated 38.39% SC. This means you get more active power in a water-based (safer) formulation. It is generally more effective on stubborn diseases.
Q2: Can I use it on Chilli for Fruit Rot (Anthracnose)?A: Yes, it is excellent for Chilli Anthracnose (fruit rot/die-back). It dries up the fungal lesions quickly, preventing further rot on the fruits.
Q3: Will it control Downy Mildew?A: No. Tebuconazole works on Powdery Mildew and Leaf Spots. It is NOT effective against Oomycetes like Downy Mildew. For Downy Mildew, use Metalaxyl (Glazer) or Cymoxanil.
Q4: Is it safe for flowering?A: Tebuconazole is generally safe, but at high doses or in hot weather, it can sometimes cause slight stress. Avoid overdosing during full bloom. Stick to the recommended dose (1.25 ml/L).
Q5: Can I mix it with insecticides?A: Yes, Buonos is compatible with most common insecticides like Imidacloprid, Acetamiprid, or Lambda-cyhalothrin.
