| Feature | Details |
| 🏢 Brand | Bayer CropScience |
| 🧪 Technical Name | Fluopyram 21.37% + Trifloxystrobin 21.37% SC |
| 🧬 Chemical Group | SDHI (Fluopyram) + Strobilurin/QoI (Trifloxystrobin) |
| 💧 Formulation | Suspension Concentrate (SC) |
| 🎯 Product Type | Systemic, Contact & Translaminar Fungicide |
| ⚡ Mode of Action | Inhibits Fungal Respiration & Energy Production |
Acerbo delivers a deadly "1-2 punch" to fungal pathogens by disrupting their energy production at two completely different cellular sites:
🩺 Fluopyram (Systemic Action): Belongs to the SDHI class. It penetrates the plant tissue and moves systemically through the vascular system. It targets the fungus's mitochondria, blocking the electron transport chain (Complex II). This stops spore germination and halts the growth of the fungal mycelium from the inside out.
🛡️ Trifloxystrobin (Mesostemic & Translaminar Action): Binds tightly to the waxy surface of the leaf, creating a weather-resistant protective shield. It also penetrates the leaf tissue (translaminar action) to kill fungi hiding on the underside of the leaves. It attacks a different part of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, instantly preventing infection.
✅ Complete Protection: Acts as a preventative, curative, and eradicative fungicide. It stops diseases before they start and cures existing hidden infections.
🌱 "Beyond Efficacy" Benefits: Triggers a physiological "greening" effect in the crop. It helps plants manage abiotic stress (like heat or drought), leading to better root development, uniform growth, and a visibly healthier crop.
💧 Advanced SC Formulation: The Suspension Concentrate liquid is highly soluble, mixes uniformly in the spray tank, and leaves no visible residue on the harvested fruits or vegetables.
🌧️ Excellent Rainfastness: Thanks to Trifloxystrobin’s mesostemic properties, it locks onto the leaf's waxy layer and resists washing away, even if it rains shortly after spraying.
🛑 Built-in Resistance Management: Because it attacks the fungus at two different sites simultaneously, it drastically reduces the chance of the disease developing chemical resistance.
Standard Mixing Ratio: * 200 to 250 ml per Acre
1 to 1.5 ml per Liter of water
15 to 20 ml per standard 15-Liter Knapsack Sprayer
| 🌿 Crop | 🦠 Target Diseases | ⚖️ Dosage per Acre |
| Paddy (Rice) | Sheath Blight, Leaf Blast, Neck Blast | 200 - 250 ml |
| Chilli | Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose, Die-Back, Fruit Rot | 200 - 250 ml |
| Onion | Purple Blotch, Stemphylium Blight | 200 - 250 ml |
| Tomato | Powdery Mildew, Early Blight | 200 - 250 ml |
| Mango | Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose | 1 - 1.5 ml / Liter |
💡 PRO-TIP: For devastating diseases like Purple Blotch in Onions or Sheath Blight in Paddy, apply Acerbo preventatively just as the weather conditions become favorable for the fungus (high humidity and cloudy skies) rather than waiting for severe crop damage.
Shake Well: Vigorously shake the bottle before measuring the liquid to ensure the concentrated suspension is evenly mixed.
Dilution: Mix the recommended dose in 150 to 200 liters of clean water per acre for ground application.
Thorough Coverage: Use a knapsack sprayer fitted with a hollow cone nozzle. Ensure the spray mist covers both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves and penetrates the crop canopy.
Repeat Application: If disease pressure is high, repeat the spray after 10 to 14 days to maintain an unbroken protective shield.
Always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a mask, gloves, and protective eyewear while mixing and spraying.
Avoid spraying during high midday temperatures or windy conditions to prevent chemical drift.
Store securely in a cool, dry place, strictly out of reach of children, pets, and livestock.
