Are relentless sucking pests draining the life out of your crops and reducing your yield? Take immediate control with UPL Apache Insecticide, a powerful, next-generation systemic solution from UPL.
Featuring a highly advanced, dual-action blend of Fipronil and Flonicamid, Apache is specially engineered to target and eradicate the most stubborn sucking insect complexes. Whether you are fighting severe Hopper Burn (BPH) in your Paddy fields or aggressive Thrips and Jassids in your Cotton and Chilli, UPL Apache acts rapidly to stop feeding and provide long-lasting field protection!
βοΈ Dual-Action Dominance: Combines the powerful central nervous system disruption of Fipronil with the rapid anti-feedant properties of Flonicamid.
β‘ Instant Feeding Cessation: The moment pests ingest or come into contact with Apache, their mouthparts are paralyzed. They stop sucking sap within minutes, instantly halting crop damage.
πΏ Excellent Systemic & Translaminar Action: The chemical quickly absorbs into the plant sap and moves across the leaf tissue, killing insects hiding on the undersides of leaves.
𧬠Breaks Cross-Resistance: Highly effective against pest populations that have become immune to older chemical groups like Neonicotinoids or Organophosphates.
π§ Advanced WDG Formulation: Water Dispersible Granules (WDG) are easy to measure, dissolve instantly without creating harmful dust, and ensure a highly uniform spray coverage.

For the most effective eradication, ensure complete drenching of the plant foliage, especially the lower canopy where hoppers hide. General Dosage: 0.5 to 0.75 grams per liter of water OR ~100 to 125 grams per Acre.
| Crop | Target Pests | Dosage (Per 1 Liter Water) | Dosage (Per Acre) |
| Paddy (Rice) | Brown Plant Hopper (BPH), Green Leaf Hopper (GLH), Whitebacked Plant Hopper | 0.5 - 0.75 gm | 100 - 125 gm |
| Cotton | Thrips, Jassids, Aphids, Whiteflies | 0.5 - 0.75 gm | 100 - 125 gm |
| Chilli | Thrips, Aphids, Yellow Mite | 0.5 - 0.75 gm | 100 - 125 gm |
| Tomato / Brinjal | Whiteflies, Jassids, Aphids | 0.5 - 0.75 gm | 100 - 125 gm |
| Okra (Bhindi) | Jassids, Whiteflies | 0.5 - 0.75 gm | 100 - 125 gm |
Target the Base for Paddy: When spraying for Brown Plant Hoppers (BPH) in rice, direct your spray nozzle toward the base of the plant near the water level, as this is where the hoppers live and multiply.
Act at ETL (Economic Threshold Level): Don't wait for the crop to turn yellow. Spray UPL Apache as soon as you notice the initial build-up of the pest population to prevent viral disease transmission (like Leaf Curl).
Make a Pre-Mix: Because it is a WDG granular formulation, dissolve the required amount of Apache in a small bucket of water to create a uniform suspension before adding it to your main 15-liter spray tank.
Q1: How does UPL Apache stop the insects so fast?
A: The Flonicamid component in Apache acts specifically on the insect's feeding behavior. Within a few minutes of contact, the pest becomes disoriented and its mouthparts are paralyzed. While the pest may stay on the leaf for a day before dying, it cannot feed or damage the plant during that time.
Q2: Will it wash off if it rains?
A: UPL Apache has excellent systemic and translaminar properties. Once the spray dries (usually within 2 hours), the chemical is absorbed deep into the plant tissues, making it highly rainfast and resistant to washing away.
Q3: Is Apache safe for my crops?
A: Yes, it is highly crop-safe (non-phytotoxic) when used at the recommended dosage. In fact, by eliminating sap-sucking stress, it helps the crop regain its natural green vigor.
Q4: Can I mix UPL Apache with a fungicide?
A: Yes, UPL Apache is compatible with most commonly used fungicides and foliar fertilizers. However, we recommend a quick jar compatibility test before mixing large quantities in your main tank.
Q5: Why is WDG better than liquid EC formulations?
A: Water Dispersible Granules (WDG) are safer for the farmer because they do not splash or create dust. They also do not contain harsh chemical solvents, making them gentler on the plant leaves while offering superior suspension in the spray tank.
