Tata Asataf is a legendary, broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide that has been trusted by Indian farmers for decades. Powered by Acephate 75% SP, it is famous for its versatility: it controls both chewing caterpillars and sucking insects with equal efficiency.
Its key strength is its high systemic action. Once sprayed, Asataf is rapidly absorbed by the plant and moves to every leaf and tip. This makes it impossible for pests to hide, even if they are on the underside of the leaf or inside the stem. It is the "go-to" solution for difficult sucking pests like Jassids and Aphids in Cotton and Vegetables.
🔄 Powerful Systemic Action:
It enters the plant system quickly and kills insects that feed on the sap or leaves, even if the spray didn't hit them directly.
🛡️ Double Duty:
Effective against a wide range of pests:
Sucking Pests: Jassids, Aphids, Thrips, Whiteflies, Brown Plant Hopper (BPH).
Chewing Pests: Bollworms, Leaf folders, Stem borers.
⚡ Quick Knockdown:
Pests stop feeding almost immediately upon contact or ingestion.
💊 High Solubility:
The SP (Soluble Powder) formulation dissolves completely in water, ensuring no clogging of nozzles and uniform distribution.
💰 Cost-Effective:
One of the most affordable and reliable solutions for mass pest control in field crops like Cotton and Paddy.

Q1: Is Asataf the same as Adama Acemain?A: Yes, both contain Acephate 75% SP. Tata Asataf is simply the brand name from Tata Rallis, which is extremely popular and trusted for its quality and purity.
Q2: Can I use it on Cotton?A: Yes, Asataf is a standard recommendation for Cotton farmers, especially for controlling Jassids and early Bollworms.
Q3: Does it smell bad?A: Yes, Acephate has a distinct, strong odor. This actually helps repel pests to some extent, but you should wear a mask while spraying to avoid inhaling it.
Q4: Is it safe for beneficial insects?A: No, as a broad-spectrum organophosphate, it can be harmful to beneficials (like bees) if sprayed directly. Avoid spraying during peak flowering times.
Q5: Can I mix it with other products?A: It is compatible with most fungicides and insecticides, but do not mix with alkaline products (like Bordeaux mixture or Lime Sulphur) as it will lose its effectiveness.
