⚙️ How It Works (Dual Mode of Action)

Tata Mark Plus works by forming a chemical film on the top layer of the soil. When weed seeds try to germinate and push through this layer, they absorb the herbicide and die before breaking the surface:

• 🛑 Pendimethalin (Inhibits Cell Division): Absorbed by the emerging roots and shoots of germinating weeds. It binds to tubulin, disrupting the formation of microtubules, which completely stops cell division and plant growth in grassy weeds.

• ⚡ Diclosulam (Inhibits Amino Acid Synthesis): Absorbed by the roots and translocated through the weed. It acts as an ALS (acetolactate synthase) inhibitor, starving the weed of essential amino acids required for survival, making it highly lethal to broad-leaf weeds and sedges.

⚠️ STRICT TIMING WARNING: Tata Mark Plus is a PRE-EMERGENCE herbicide. For it to work, it MUST be sprayed within 0 to 48 hours of sowing the crop seeds, before the crop and the weeds germinate!

🚜 Application Guidelines

1. Soil Preparation: For the herbicide layer to form correctly, the soil must be well-prepared, free of large clods, and free of existing plant debris.

2. Crucial Soil Moisture: Adequate soil moisture at the time of spraying is absolutely mandatory for the chemicals to activate and bind to the soil particles. Do not apply on completely dry, dusty soil.

3. Application Method: Mix the required dose in 150 to 200 liters of clean water per acre.

4. Equipment: Always use a knapsack sprayer fitted with a Flat Fan or Flood Jet nozzle. Walk backward while spraying so you do not step on and break the chemical film you just applied to the soil!
