Adama Agil: The Grass Specialist
Kill the Grass. Save the Crop.
Adama Agil is a world-renowned, post-emergence selective herbicide designed to solve one of the biggest headaches for farmers: Grassy Weeds in Broadleaf Crops. Powered by Propaquizafop 10% EC, it is a systemic killer that hunts down narrow-leaf weeds—roots and all—without harming your main crop.
Whether you are growing Soybean, Cotton, Onion, or Pulses, Agil ensures that your crop gets 100% of the soil nutrients by eliminating aggressive competitors like Barnyard grass and Crabgrass.
🎯 Selective Precision:
It specifically targets Narrow-Leaf (Grassy) Weeds while remaining completely safe for Broadleaf crops (Dicots).
⚡ Rapid Absorption & Rainfastness:
The unique formulation penetrates the weed leaves within 1 hour. Even if it rains an hour after spraying, the product will still work.
🔄 Systemic Root Kill:
It moves systematically from the leaves down to the roots and rhizomes, ensuring that even stubborn perennial grasses do not grow back.
🚫 Volunteer Crop Control:
Excellent for controlling "Volunteer" crops (e.g., self-sown Wheat or Maize plants growing in an Onion or Soybean field).
🍂 Visible Results:
Weeds stop growing within 1-2 days. You will see them turning purple/reddish-brown before completely drying out in 10-15 days.

Ensure the soil has sufficient moisture for the herbicide to work effectively.
Q1: Can I use Agil on Maize (Corn) or Sugarcane?A: ABSOLUTELY NOT. Maize, Sugarcane, Wheat, and Rice are all "Grasses." Agil will kill these crops instantly. Only use Agil on broadleaf crops like Soybean, Cotton, Pulses, and Onions.
Q2: Will it kill broadleaf weeds like Parthenium or Bathua?A: No. Agil is a specialist for Grasses. It has zero effect on broadleaf weeds. If you have a mix of weeds, you may need to apply a broadleaf herbicide separately (check compatibility first, as mixing herbicides can sometimes reduce efficacy).
Q3: How soon can I see the results?A: The weeds stop growing within 24 hours (so crop competition stops immediately). Visible yellowing/reddening starts in 5-7 days, and complete death occurs in 12-15 days.
Q4: Is it safe for Onion crops?A: Yes, it is one of the most trusted herbicides for Onion and Garlic farmers to control grassy weeds without burning the sensitive onion tips.
Q5: What happens if it rains after spraying?A: Agil is rain-fast within 1 hour. If it rains after that, you do not need to respray.
